I've been cleaning and dusting

my little rolling stone's room.

Getting straightened up in time

for her bridal shower next weekend.

Today I decided to box away some of the

memorabilia from years gone by.

like it was yesterday.

To clear my sad little heart

I stepped outside.

There, right in front of my eyes

for the first time in my life..

I watched,

 as a little baby bird,

with the encouragement of her Mother,

 flew from her nest.

 She earned her wings.
