On The Advice of my Daughter

So, I admit it.
I don't buy Starbucks coffee.
I don't like Starbucks coffee.
It's way too strong.
It's way too dark.
It's way too expensive.
It's almost intimidating.
However....
My 1st born keeps raving.
Pumpkin Latte.
So yesterday, my curiosity
(and hunger) got the best of me.
After some mindful deliberation,
I ordered one.
Starbucks Pumpkin Latte. Short.
For goodness sakes,
do yourself a favor.
Go to Starbucks!!
Order one up.
And keep an eye out for me,
chances are,
I'm in line next to you!
Thanks, cute!

  1. Breakdown the initimidation factor by refusing to use Sbux language. If you want a small, say "small." If the barrista looks confused simply repeat. I see no reason that America should have to amend its vocabulary to placate the marketing whims of a corporation.

Also, the Pumpkin Latte is delish.
